Steamy and hot.
99 Martinis was like nothing I've read before. It was steamy and hot and had a good story, too, which you don't often see in erotica. The characters were well drawn and it actually had a plot. Loved it!

Believable
The sex scenes seem flat (and uncomfortable!). Less is more? Anais Nin, for example, or Sophie Simonet write more sensually. Also, while the two main characters are well delineated, they are not really that likeable, so there is little to emotionally involve the reader. But, hey, it's an erotic work, and the plot was good for that genre and holds one's interest.
