Pretty good, but room for improvement
Overall the phone works great and has all that you need, with a few areas in need of improvement:

* The keypad is crowded. It's hard to dial if you have long nails.

* The navigation keys are very close to the OK button, making it less than practical.

* The phone has many fancy ringtones, but no NORMAL ring tone. Ironically, I need to go download a ringtone so the phone will ring like a normal phone?!

* Very limited ringtones that will simultaneously ring and vibrate.

* Reception isn't all that outstanding.

* Battery is no match for the battery power of a Nokia!

1. u can set ur mp3 as a ringtone and it doesn't have to be by group. Any individual number can have it's own ring tone.

2. megapixel(1.3) camera with flash~! no need to carry my digital cam anymore. 1.3 is more than enough for almost everyone except for those who want to print their pictures.

2. bluetooth, somewhat useful, but how am i going to show off my new phone if i use this?

3. infra red port. with this, you can send the pictures from phone to notebook or receive mp3s n pictures from.

4. nevigation keys can be set up. i used d415 before and it didn't let me set up what i wanted. but this one can. k

5. supports largest size of gif file for samsung. but limited to 300kb(i think), size of file i am using rite now is 272kb.

6. u can check the time without sliding up,(guess it will help you saving the battery)

1. bettery will last one day for sure, maybe two, but don't count ont it for more.

2. when i set up caller id with gif(moving picture) and ringtone with mp3, the sound cracked.

3. if u r going to use a sim card from the old phone, make sure copy the phone numbers to the phone. PHONE NUMBERS STORED IN SIM CARD CAN'T NOT BE EDITTED which means no caller id picture or preffered ringtone for number.

4. when u go over the pictures received from computer, it reacts slowly.

5. SMS TONES SUX-! i couldn't believe what i was hearing when i tried to set up the tone for sms. With mp3 player, megapixel camera with flash, this is only tones they could come up with? samsung really need to work on this.

6. higher than vga will require a moment to take a picture. up to size of vga(640x480), i could take picture instantly, but mega(1152x864) and sxga(1280x1204) took about two second to take after i press the ok button

7. small size screen. date, days, n time can't be displayed inside of the back ground picture. so actual display size is not 176x220 pixels. around 176x170.

8. and even smaller size caller id picture. fills about 1/5 of 176/170 in the milldle when someone calles. very disappointe for this. D415 used full screen to display the caller id picture.


using this phone can be very risky since this phone is not officially imported by t-mobile or cingular. so if u face the problem, u r on ur own. no insurance or warranty(but the seller told that i can contact the samsung factory), but i still think it's worth to take a risk.
